He thought it an appropriate time to reflect on marriage and family life and the call to put the Lord in the center of our hearts. The Commission: Do You Love Me? As the retreat concludes, Fr. Michael continues his imaginative prayer...On the shores of Galilee, the risen Jesus gently restores Peter by asking him three times, "Do you love me?" Matching each denial with an invitation to love and serve, Jesus entrusts Peter with the care of his flock.
