Introduction by Fr. Michael

Welcome to the Fifth Week of Easter in our Season of Joy series.

This week, our six meditations invite us to rest more deeply in the healing love of Christ—a love that knows us personally, prepares a home for us, meets us in our woundedness, and speaks peace into our fear.

Thursday

Fr. Keith Romke guides us in a meditation on the powerful words of Psalm 46:10:

Be still and know that I am God.

He shares how this verse became deeply personal to him after a retreat confession, when a priest reminded him that God’s love cannot be earned. Love is not a wage; it is a gift. In stillness, we are invited to stop striving, stop proving ourselves, and simply receive the love God is already offering.

So this week, we pray for the grace to be known, healed, stilled, and strengthened by Christ.
The Good Shepherd knows us.
The Living Water renews us.
The love of God holds us.
The voice of Jesus speaks into every storm:

Take heart. It is I. Do not be afraid.
