Kevin takes us to the foot of the Cross, where we hear Jesus say, “I thirst.” His thirst is not only physical, but spiritual: Jesus thirsts for us. Even in the midst of his agony, he is interceding for us. Because Jesus holds nothing back, but gives himself completely for our sake, we can trust in his love and mercy. This final week invites us to trust the generous love of God, bring our deepest longings to Jesus, strengthen our bond with the Lord, and open our whole selves to the coming of the Holy Spirit. 2nd Meditation by Fr.
