MichaelWelcome to the Fourth Week of Easter in our Season of Joy series. So often, when we begin to pray, our first instinct is to turn inward—to bring before God our own needs, our struggles, our hopes. There is nothing wrong with this. It is natural. It is human. And God welcomes it. But this week, we are gently invited not only to bring our burdens to Christ—but to discover how He longs to share them with us, transform them, and ultimately widen our hearts in love. Today, Fr. Ryan draws us to the suffering servant in the Book of Isaiah (53:5): “By his wounds we are healed.” The saints have long known this truth: when we place our wounds into the wounds of Christ, healing begins. What was once a place of pain can become a place of grace… even a place of glory. This is the grace of the Fourth Week of Easter: As you enter these meditations, allow your prayer to unfold… And in that unfolding, may you discover the deep and abiding joy of the Risen Christ! 2nd Meditation by Fr.
